CALL TO ORDER: The meeting of the Richland Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:30 P.M by Chairman Clark with the Pledge to the Flag.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by Bernard Neuenfeldt, second by Gary Turner, the Minutes of June 3, 2008 to be approved and filed as written. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

Motion by Walter Rohn, second by Brian Frederick, the Minutes of August 19, 2008 to be approved and filed as written. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

INSPECTION REPORT: Motion by Gary Turner, second by Brian Frederick, to receive and file the Inspection Report for the month of June, July and August 2008. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

ZONING ADMINISTRATORS REPORT: Grant Rames, gave a review of items that were presented to him this month.

PUBLIC COMMENT: None.

OLD BUSINESS: None.

REQUEST TO PLACE TEMPORARY DWELLING - HARVEY: Motion by Gary Turner, second by Bernard Neuenfeldt, to grant the Special Use Permit as requested by L & AL Harvey, 269 Norbert Lane, parcel number 22-12-2-26-3207-000, for placement of a temporary trailer during new construction due to a house fire; all required permits and inspections to be completed before occupancy of the trailer. Unanimous vote. Motion carried.

DISCUSS (ALL CURRENT) TEMPORARY DWELLING: Discussion was held regarding Zoning Administrator Rames reviewing all current temporary dwellings in the township. Further discussion will be held at the October 7, 2008 meeting.

PUBLIC COMMENT: None.

ADJOURNMENT: Motion by David H. Schafer, second by Bernard Neuenfeldt, to adjourn. Unanimous vote. Meeting adjourned – 7:51 P.M.
